I think H&M's future 'Royal Tours' may not be to Africa. There are bigger possibilities with a worldwide stage, such as China or Russia. These countries would have every reason to woo the Harkles to visit: to be seen having links with the British monarchy, to politically embarrass the UK and USA, and to make a triumphant gut punch to the Western allies. Think of former King Edward 8 and Wallis Simpson, making a faux state visit to Nazi Germany in 1937. I see the potential for a repeat of that disgusting episode with H&M. They are naive and glory-seeking enough to accept such an offer.

How wonderful to see and hear about the royal robes that they preserve, adjust and make; amongst other fascinating 'attire' and all still with a Royal Warrant. Also! That document/book in their store 'filled out' and 'signed' by so many since the 16th century must be amazing to see, let alone the fact that it still exits to this day; and although still used (to this day) I am sure that it is kept very safely 'locked away' for provenance. I’m very disappointed to hear that Ellen was not warm and kind. I had heard about some of her employees relating their hostile work environment but I had thought it was mainly the man in charge to whom all of the negative experiences were directed and that most of the employees had little contact with Ellen. On her shows, she pulled a lot of pranks and would ask questions primarily for comedic effect. She would always ask Taylor Swify about her dating life. And she would ask and re-ask in really obvious and funny ways. The audience would laugh, and I thought since they were friends for so many years it was understood as satirical that so many reporters would be only interested in that and not every other amazing thing she was doing. But later it was used as one of the examples of Ellen being mean and disrespectful. Comedy is like slicing salami. How far is too far? TV comics who are also talk show hosts have to come up with new material daily. It seems that many celebrities stop being nice over time. Do they change, or do they just stop wearing a front? Ellen did so many wonderful things for so many people, especially children, teachers and local heros shining a light on positivity. It’s a shame that she lost sight of the people. Hopefully the situation caused her to do some self reflection.
